Our Vision

Our path to creating the Sleep Mastery Journal began with Matthew Walker's phenomenal book 'Why We Sleep'.

This book first reinforced the point that sleep today has been ripped apart by early wake demands for school, college, university, work, commute, and other early morning disturbances.

Not to mention that artificial light has made it more difficult to fall asleep at a reasonable time if light exposure is not controlled. Our bodies' chemistry has been set for tens of thousands of years with the sunrise and sunset, timing the release of cortisol, dopamine, adrenaline, adenosine, melatonin, and many more hormones with the circadian rhythm.

Recognizing the need for improved sleep across every age group in modern society, we thought we could provide something that nobody else is. A unique way to put more importance on the most important lifestyle factor there is.

We decided to marry the well-known science and psychology of goal setting and scheduling with sleep, in a journal designed to give you the highest likelihood of improving your sleep.

The Sleep Mastery Journal and its program are a testament to our commitment to a healthier way of life, offering a product that helps consumers prioritize their sleep.

We are continually looking for feedback on the journal and the course to make it the best product of its type that it can be. If you have any recommendations or just want to share your thoughts, please contact us through the form below.

We would be delighted to hear from you!

About Sleep Mastery

Sleep Mastery was founded in 2024 after years of seeing and experiencing the negative effects of poor sleep across a variety of different populations and professions, combined with a desire to change the attitude towards and importance of sleep in the health and performance of everybody.

As an ambitious young man with a desire to improve and a background in Sports Medicine, I found myself conflicted between knowing the health risks of Sleep Deprivation, and being told by other ambitious personalities that "Sleep if for the
weak." and "You can sleep when you're dead, there's work to be done!".

At some point, after listening and learning from experts like Andrew Huberman and Matt Walker, I decided to make the change from sleep being an inconvenience in the way of my other responsibilites, to sleep being a priority in my routine.

After a period of feeling guilty for getting more sleep, I started really noticing the benefits to my own personal health and productivity. Needless to say, I've never looked back.

I decided to start the Sleep Mastery Journal first as a means to further track and improve my own personal sleep based on evidence-based methods, and decided to turn it into a product to help others reap the benefits of greater sleep along the way.

A main component of the Sleep Journal was focused on using research backed and proven methods for sleep improvement, mainly around sleep hygeine but also around supplements and behaviours that can heavily influence sleep.
